Measuring Customer Usage of Documentation Through Google Analytics

Presentation Abstract

Do you know how customers are using your documentation? If your customers read your documentation from a website, Google Analytics can provide metrics. In this session, we’ll show you the types of usage data that you can get from Google Analytics and will provide examples on how to interpret it. We’ll also look at the data that Google Analytics can provide about your audience.

What can the audience expect to learn?

Documentation managers and their teams can use Google Analytics usage data to determine where to improve documentation. They can also find out what parts of the documentation aren’t being used and perhaps should be cut. This analytics is also useful in determining the audience demographics and how well your improvements are received.
